The artist Andreas Hentrich was born in 1952 and grew up in Ditzingen near Stuttgart, located in the vicinity of famous automobile manufacturers.
When he was 8 years old, his enthusiasm for automobiles already began to show. He passionately drew cars, motorcycles and racing cars. He then told his father, who was an educational theorist and an artist himself that he wanted to become a racing-car driver or an artist who could draw pictures of his favorite cars all day long.
He went to school in Ditzingen and finished his higher education entrance qualification in Stuttgart. After finishing school he studied art and psychology.
Following his artistic inspiration he started to produce his art printings in 1976 and created his first tin graphics. In the same year he found that many people in the United States of America were very interested in his artwork and so he discovered a new market there.
Andreas did not shun effort nor money and due to wide-ranging marketing strategies he established a worldwide exclusive market for his artwork. Today his name stands for his metallic shining graphics.
They are worldwide rarities. To be seen, for instance, in Abu Dhabi, in one of the most valuable private auto collections in the world: metallic automobile-graphics that are to be recognized by the elongated
signature.

Aside from many other artists who use techniques like oil, chalk, watercolors or pencil drawing, Andreas has found his own unique stile.
Just like automobile manufacturers, who have always used aluminum to produce their cars, Andreas has discovered this same material to create his artwork.
Since 1981 international automobile manufacturers such as AMG, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Aston Martin, BMW Ferrari, Fiat General Motors, Honda, Lancia, Lexus, Jaguar, Mercedes and Porsche, appreciate his metal graphic series as valuable gifts for their most important costumers.
Collectors of his artwork include industrial magnates, top managers of car companies, owners of Formula 1 teams, royal houses, Sheiks and owners of automobile museums.
